Armstrong continued saying: "The haters though, they just drive me. It makes me wish to prove them wrong.

"I've been selling lots of tickets, however i know many will be coming to see me get knocked out. That makes me even more determined.

"It does make me nervous, however it drives me. I can't be embarrassed like that. I have to win this to demonstrate I am not a tale.

"I'm really conscious of my body and my weight diet pills reviews anyway, so just getting into the ring without a top on will be with enough contentration for me. I understand that sounds daft, me saying I've confidence issues, however i do. It wont stop me though, I have to prove the haters wrong!"

He's needed to cope with hatred all his life, and it was often bullied in school because of his weight.

As a boxer he has decided that his nickname will be 'Rocky' and that will be printed on his shorts come fight night.

The reason, he said: "I live in the centre of Newcastle and that i venture out running and individuals recognise me now. It is humbling and I always imagine it as being like among the training scenes in the Rocky movies.

"I have people shouting 'go on Robin' and i'm running along, people shouting out of cars and beeping the horn. It's class. Will still be hard to get my head around to tell the truth."

Johnson is a who has benefited from Armstrong's popularity, but says their friendship is extremely strong following this.

Johnson said: "We got to know each other with the boxing, but now I consider him a really good friend. He is not just a funny guy on Facebook, he's a very nice lad and he has time for everyone.

"He's really talented too and i believe he's going to shock many people. It will likely be a really good show."

Armstrong continues to be compared to experienced 3x slimming power boxer Mark Smith that has had 47 fights up to now, 12 of which were wins. That's some test for the first ever time in the boxing ring.

The card will also feature Sam Best from they Johnson gym, who challenges for a title. Mark Purvis is also inside a title eliminator.
